We hold through volatility, giving a thesis the years it may need to play out.
Research first.
Consensus last.
Museum Park Capital serves professionals, executives, business owners, retirees, and families who want their capital managed directly by the person doing the primary research, not handed off to a team, and invested to carry wealth across generations.
Meaningful opportunities rarely come from thinking like everyone else.
Many portfolios are managed relative to benchmarks, built from research assembled by an analyst team, or selected by a screening model. This can create incentives to follow consensus views, remain close to the index, and focus on short-term market movements rather than long-term opportunities.
We take a different approach. We identify the defining themes of the times we live in, then evaluate individual businesses through bottom-up research: competitive position, financial condition, management quality, and valuation. We look for companies undergoing meaningful transformation, where the market has not yet recognized the resulting change in their earning power or strategic position.
Our research starts with primary sources, not secondhand summaries: earnings calls and financial statements, industry and trade publications, management backgrounds, macroeconomic data, and daily news flow. We study the forces reshaping industries and economies:
- Macroeconomic conditions
- Investor psychology and economic behavior
- Shifts in global capital flows
- Geopolitical developments
- Technological innovation
- Demographic change
- Government policy
Four principles guide every decision.
We size positions around conviction, not around holding as many names as possible.
We revise our view when the facts change, not when the price does.
The same person who does the research makes every decision, with nothing lost between analysis and action.
Whether a client’s objective is long-term growth, retirement income, capital preservation, or a combination of these goals, the same person handles all of it, from the first conversation on.
Long-term forces, examined in depth.
Public research in three streams: macro commentary, company research, and coverage updates.
